THE PLAN WILL CREATE 10,000 NEW JOBS, BRING MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.WE HAVE ALREADY BEGUN FUNCTIONING WITH THE CENTRAL BROOKLYN COMMUNIT Y TO BRING IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING THROUGH THE ATLANTIC METHOD MIXED-USE STRATEGY. THE FAILING OF NEIGHBORS IN LONG ISLAND AND ALSO WESTCHESTER TO APPROVE NEW HOUSING HAS MADE THE NEW YORK METROPOLITAN AREA ONE OF THE MOST RACIALLY SEGREGATED IN THE COUNTRY. IT IS TIME TO CONSTRUCT THE NEXT GENERATION OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN NEW YORK CITY.
