Cultural Enrichment Initiatives
The Vega Family Foundation (TVFF) surround young people with creative activities to uncover new interests, build healthy minds and bodies, and nurture potential. Scholarships, workplace training, and academic support help youth succeed in high school, prepare for college, and persist through graduation.
Lace up and get ready to hit the field during TVFF’s sports! Participation in our sports Initiatives will help build your child’s athletic skills in a supportive environment that emphasizes cooperation and good sportsmanship. We offer youth flag football, volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, and much more! Youth will learn the rules of the game and play through skills challenges and scrimmage games and embrace teamwork and conflict resolution.
TVFF’s youth are constantly creating art: to process trauma and heal, to calm racing minds, to explore creative interests and unlock new ones, to express things they don’t yet have words for. The visual and performing arts are integrated across all our programs, from after-school prevention Initiatives in middle school to intensive treatment and mental health care for teenagers struggling with the trauma of gun violence.
TVFF’s youth learn how to critically think in face paced environment. TVFF’s purpose is train youth interested in STEM how to design processes on how machines interact with its environment and achieve its goals. Youth will also learn how to develop software framework for robot operating system. This initiative also focus on career planning and exploration of various careers in STEM.
