Road traffic injuries are a major public health concern in Lebanon, with high rates of noncompliance with safety measures such as wearing seatbelts and helmets. In addition, distracted driving is also common among road users, especially in rural areas. These findings highlight the need for increased public awareness campaigns and stricter enforcement of existing laws to reduce the risk of serious injury and death due to road accidents.
